WMF maiden flower dish with glass liner. The metal base has a maiden to either side with her arms spread. Her flowing hair forms the pierced stylised swirls that decorate the side of the dish. Lily pads form feet of the dish below the maiden. Flowers sprout from the base below the stylised handles, decorating the sides. The glass liner has a shaped rim with finely cut and engraved flowers and shoots to the sides. Impressed WMF maker's mark to the back of one foot (bee hive version), B (Britannia metal, a tin and antimony alloy), I/O (normal thickness of gilding/plating), OX (oxidised) and embossed article number '331'.
