Central motif of a Chinese garden bridge leading to a pagoda-roofed house, surrounded by trees and flowers. Border of gilt fretwork ornament, separated by floral sprigs, around both sides of the rim. Rothwell bead decoration around the foot rim. Orange lustre inside the foot rim with Wedgwood 'Portland vase' maker's mark and pattern number 'Z5440 2'.
