Meandering leafy border. Colours black, cream, blue, copper, gold, pink, brown and green. Verse reads, 'Oh happy souls that love the Lord,> He will return them love for love> All needful grace he will afford> To such as seek the Joys above> They in his kind protection share> He is their father and their friend> Jesus will soften all their care> And help in every trouble send'. Signed and dated, 'Eleanor Morgans Work Aged 8 Years October 9 1828'. A good set of motifs, including locks of hair, 'Saint Pauls Church', dogs, birds, angels, potted flowering plants, trees, laden with fruit, crowns, fruit baskets and butterflies.
