Verse reads, 'If I am right thy grace impart>Still in the right to stay>If I am wrong O teach my heart>To find that better way'. Signed and dated, 'Anne Lumley Aged 13 1837'. A wonderful set of motifs, including a house with a garden, stars, birds, flowers, potted flowering plants, stags, fruit baskets, fir trees, fruit trees and baskets of flowers. Framed in an old maple veneer frame, with gilt slip and glass. Fixed to linen with chipboard backing.
