Verse entitled 'On Chrift our Life' reads 'I am the Reffurection faith the Lord> Eternal Lifes the Fruit of my Eternal Word> Whoever firmly does in me believe.> The Grave fhal tnot confine nor Hell receive> Nor only this but thofe that will rely> On whatI teach fhall never never die'. Signed and dated ' Sarah Tyce her Work 1784'. A wonderful set of motifs, some finely embroidered, including a peacock, cockerel and hen with chicks, dogs, flowers, potted flowering plants, trees, laden with fruit, stags, squirrels, trees sheep and birds.
