Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature Disraeli whippets each with a hare, stood on an oblong base. White ground version. Dull gilt 'dash-dot-dash' base line. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the underside. Book reference,'Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875' Book 2, by A.& N. Harding, page 208, figure 2660.
