Vent hole to the underside. This piece represents MacDonald's of Glencoe with clan chief Alexander MacDonald or MacIan of Glencoe, defending his wife and child from the Campbell's. Sir Colin Campbell ignored MacDonald's oath of allegiance, murdering the entire clan in the infamous 1692 'massacre of Glencoe.
